Procrastination
My 8th std. english teacher once said... "Procrastination is the thief of time"! My thoughts then were on the lines of .. "Procra - #%¤# - what" and i obviously ran to the nearest dictionary to enlighten myself on this word... a moment that would only start an ever long journey to conquer this devilish thief. Since then i have come a long way, but will belligerence with this theif ever find calm?
You over structurize your work routine and become a slave to the Outlook Calendar. You're exhuberent that your routine's working out fab, untill Mr. Thief tingles the smallest memory brain cell reminding you of some random low priority task you're still to complete - home, office or anywhere in this world. All in all, as much as you strive to reach home base - start from scratch with a near empty to-do list, or create a mission to climb that final mountain - just so that u'll enjoy the breath taking view that awaits you at the other end.... you slowly begin to lose the desire to jump around aimlessly and enjoy the randomness this life has to offer... you succumb to structure.
I relate this blog to that feeling. Unlike for many others, it doesnt take shape in any form in my daily structure. Its rather my escape route from routine - an abode that'll safe house my random elucidations at erratic time intervals.
I've just climbed that described mountain, felt the freshness and sighted the need for a blog posting. I've infact done a lot since my last posting, including setting foot on a new country... something i hope to write about soon.. a.k.a ... The theif has struck again ;)

Rather than run to your dictionary to look up 'procrastination', your English teacher may have preferred that you look up the spelling of 'theif'...

I actually did look that up in a thesaurus, and I remember it throwing out a synonym that read "Mkundu" ;)
