Tan-o-logy
After 1 year and 4 seasons, I can finally relate to all the emotions behind celebrating the dawn of summer. BBQ's are out, beer has never tasted better, I've never enjoyed the sun this much. The local summer obsession and its connected hobbies .. all of which I interpreted as quite bizarre last summer, suddenly take shape and form in everything I consciously or subconsciously indulge in.
My tan gets darker everday, and it keeps reminding me of the unsaid social norm back home in India.. where its "not appropriate" to become darker then you naturally should be. People run away from the sun in fear of committing the sinful act of getting tanned. Everyone wants to be as fair as possible and do all they can to make this happen. Just a disclaimer for everyone that will meet me in the next 2 months or anyone who connects with what im talking about : I dont give a f*** about such rules. :)
I'm getting tanned... quite "horribly" as some would comment, and "beautiful" as some others would. And i certainly wish for everyone of you'll, that you experience the true charm and meaning of a summer - No Holds Barred!

A pure function of habitat. come here to med-ros and say how beautiful the sun is. You'd be lucky to live 3 minutes (before a flying 'veech aruval' [ aka Curved getafix like sickle ] strikes you down) :)
