The irony of timing

I've torn my anterior talofibular ligament... one of the 3 ligaments located on the outer section of our ankles.. and boy is it painful!

How did this happen? Well so much for getting in touch with my ultimate passion... basketball. After 3 hours of a fantastic game, skills all taking shape again (it'd been over a year since a good game) and the ecstatic emotions of draining 4 high tension 18-foot hoops in a row... it all came crashing down with a nasty fall on my ankle from 7-8 feet high while i was battling for a rebound.

Why do i hate this?... more than anything else, the timing.

3 days to complete my MC term
4 days to the closing party
4.5 days to finalise all my packing and move out of my house (furniture, clothes, u know the drill)
5 days to board my flight to Amsterdam
5 days to begin what was supposed to be, some refreshing chillout in Amsterdam
9 days till I battle the long queues and watch U2 live in Amsterdam
11 days to the AI transition party
13 days to head back home to Bangalore!!!

Yes, sometimes it does pay to reunite with your passion. Over n out.. in search of my cruches..

  • I endorse abhi's suggestion, wholeheartedly. I still remember the first time I played ball with you, Koach and some others at Kanteerva. How time flies.
    Get well soon!

General comment : My original plan was to drop my cruches before i leave for amsterdam, but im beginning to fantasise about the service luxuries at airports/flights if I had my cruches. Muuuhhhhhahahaha

  • Dude, as a crutch-hugging-hippie not too long ago, I know all about service luxuries that come along with it...and not just at airports/flights, if you know what I mean (louder "Muuuhhhhhahahaha")
